I made the cutest card for a swap...

then on an impulse I had to give it away & I forgot to take a pic! I hate when that happens. I used my new bella stamp & it turned out sooo cute. I used the one w/the pregnant bella shopping & they had a little gift giving for one of the pregnant girls at work. I found out about it last minute so I grabbed the card & went. She actually cried when I gave it to her... then I kinda felt bad. Anyways, I made it using my new paper my SIL gave me that I absolutely love. I'm gonna make another one just like it & I'll post it when it's done. So I've been working my nites-- have nothing to show here cause of that. I found this on another blog . Check it out. Ok I don't know why it's coming out this way..but you get the point.

Being a twin...

isn't all it's cracked up to be. Yes, it's my birthday tomorrow but it's also my sister's so I have to make sure I do something special for her too. We really didn't talk about exchanging gifts so I decided to make something. I've had this paint can sitting in my craft room for prob about 2 years now & I've been "saving" it. Stupid, right? Anyways, I decided to alter it using her fave color- pink & fill it with hershey kisses. This is my 1st altered project. Everything seemed to go wrong. No matter how careful I was with my measurements-- nothing measured up right on the can... aggravating!

Good Evening!

Ok, I usually only post when I have a new project or card to show off but I just wanted to say "hi". I finally got around to checking out Katie's blog today & have added it to my list of blogs I like to visit. You can find this link on the upper left hand side of the page under.... Blogs you should definitely check out. Obviously the title says it all. Most of the blogs are fellow Cricut message board chicks. The other's were found listed on their blogs. I've said it before-- there are some killer talented girls on the internet. Also, if anyone's reading this lol feel free to link my blog to your blog-- no need to ask, seriously it's an honor. Tomorrow I'm off work, have a doc appointment but will hopefully get some time to "play". Then Thursday is just about the most dreaded day in a girl's life.... I'm turning 30! Grrrr!!!!

A full day's work

Just kidding, I only spent a couple hours on these cards I'm posting. Yes, I'm still on a bella kick but I used my new bee stamp set too. I had to scan these so the stickles isn't showing too good.

So I tried making a card a little diff than what I'm used to. I saw it in one of my cards books that I have & since I have the stamp shown I tried it out. You start with this dress stamp, it's in the shape of a wedding dress & it's all made out of words- no actual outline. I stamped it in pink on a lighter pink cardstock. After that dried I cut out the shape but cut the bottom longer than the actual "dress" so it could be folded from the bottom & give room for a sentiment. Then I tied a pink ribbon around the "waist". Anyways, the annoying part happened when I opened my new set of stamps that I got on clearance. Of course, my SIL warned me that they stuck to the sheet & when I attempt to remove it it tears. Still it was ok- no real harm done. But when I go to stamp the sentiment, finishing the card--- it stamps crooked!!!! Grrrr!!! The worst!! I'm still gonna upload the pic so you get the idea.

My Award

& a big thanks to Michelle for giving me this award. Thanks for thinking of me. If you want to check out Michelle's blog (which you def should) click on her link on Sites I like to Visit.

Now, off topic, I'm back to work today so I won't be able to make anything today. I was going to get up early but I was to comfy in bed w/Shelby (yes, my dog). I've been off for almost a week now but it still won't be enough time. I got alot of projects (read:cards) done so I'm happy about that. It really took my mind off of things. I ordered my bellas yesterday so now it's just a matter of waiting that out lol. It'll give me something to look forward to.

Like I'm not online enough..

& now I've been compelled to join the forum over @ splitcoast stampers! They now have a forum dedicated to stamping bella so of course I had to check it out. So after checking that out I just had to go to my room & whip up a couple bella cards. Ssshh.. don't tell my husband I just ordered like 5 new bellas too! I couldn't help myself & I've been eyeing them up for quite some time. The 5 or 6 that I already have just weren't enough. I ordered: craving bella, pms bella, pregnant/shopping bella & cat bella (sorry I'm not good w/the names.. you get the idea). I can't get enough of them. I'm also adding the link to the site on my blog. In case you haven't noticed on the left side of my blog is a list of blogs I like to visit. Some I know from the Cricut MB & some I've come across. Anyways, in case you didn't know already there are a ton of talented ladies on here. BTW, I'm also considering opening an Etsy shop. Just something I'm thinking about nothing set in stone... if it happens it won't be for quite awhile... we'll see.

Ok, so I finished another bella. I think this one turned out very cute. I used another studio g stamp for the "let's get together". I didn't scan these since the stickles isn't dry yet.

Baby Cards

Ok I made 4 of these cards all at once.. still took forever! Anyways, I started out w/the baby cuttlebug embossing folder & chalked the edge w/either blue or pink. I tied a ribbon around the middle & added a little pin w/pastel beads. Then I popped the circle which I chalked as well. On the girl ones I popped the flower in the middle & added stickles. On the boys ones I added those cute little buttons, I didn't use stickles since the blue paper has glitter on it already. The stamped words on the bottom are 3 different stamps from a fiskars set I have. I'm really happy with these.

My goal is to have the perfect card ready for every occasion just in case.
