Happy Saturday...

Ok so I've got alot on my plate right now- my sister needs a birthday card along with I've now committed myself to making a scrapbook album for momma & baby, Mother's Day coming up, I need to make a card to send with some goodies to a friend & I also need to reciprocate to a friend who sent some awesome stamped images as well as a Bella sentiment stamp. I've been "spring cleaning" today too!! Very busy! I got my mom's Mother's Day card done... sshhh don't tell! It's feels great to have it ready instead of throwing something together @ the last minute. I used flowerbella that my SCS buddy sent along w/my new SU stamp. I thought the whole "thank you" thing was appropriate since that's what Mother's Day is about. Also, I don't have any stamps or Cricut cuts that actually say "Happy Mother's Day". I also used some new supplies & techniques on this card. I pulled out the best white pen I have & faux-stitched, used my scallop scissors for the mat & used my new brads & bookplate that I got for next to nothing. I'm now in love with bookplates. Ok, I hate my handwriting-- it's obvious I wrote "Mom" but I can live with that. Oh yeah, I still have to make a card for my other Mom-- my MIL!

New stamp line.. to me that is..

Ok I haven't had any time for creating but I've still been keeping up on what's going on right now over @ SCS. I was reading a thread about clear stamps & came across Kitchen Sink stamps. I'd never even heard of them... not like I need another line to be crazy about. Anyways, I checked out the site & they have the most amazing stamp sets. Some are a bit pricey but they are 3 step stamps or dimensional stamps. If anyone's actually reading this lol, here's a link: This set is called 3 Step Hey Chick & it's about the coolest ever. Please let me know what you think!

It's all about the Bellas..

Ok I know I've gotten far away from my Cricut but I'm just so in love with Bella right now. I've been on SCS a ton lately & have been keeping up with the "Bella needs our help!!" thread. It's all about posting about cards we like in the gallery featuring Bella & making sure that they all are getting the love they deserve. Anyways, I came across Lynn's gallery & she makes the most amazing cards, not only Bellas but SU stamps too. I absolutely love the coloring she does with the Copics & I only dream that somehow I could have all the Copics that everyone else seems to have. Ok, Katie, I know you've only got a couple but still! ;) So, I'm adding Lynn's blog to my link in the upper left corner-- Check her out!! FYI, my "good friend" Katie enabled me into my first Eclectic Paperie order. Don't worry-- I was pretty good... I got away w/just the skin-toned Copic, the girl penguin-in-a-bikini-doing-the-hula stamp (99 cents!) & the hey cupcake stamps. I just had to cave!
